History
Enoteca 1918
At the opening of Enoteca 1918, we continued to fulfill the dream started by my great-grandfather, Don Donato Simone, when he started his first restaurant in Pescara, a beautiful town on the Italian Adriatic coast in the Abruzzo region.. My father arrived in Mallorca in 2000 and opened his first restaurant: ‘La Botiga de Via Appia’, which would later become La Bottega di Michele, a benchmark for Italian cuisine in Palma. With my father I have learned to love cooking, to conquer creating dishes with personality, to innovate, but above all I have learned that the most important thing is to make people happy.
Enoteca 1918 is the result of the journey of an Italian family that in 2018 celebrate 100 years in the world restoration.
Then my grandmother Antonieta Simone continued, to continue with my father Michele Caporale.
Our gastronomic offer is completed by the restaurants Bianco e Rosso.

I’m Manuel Caporale, Executive Chef at the Enoteca 1918 and the restaurant Bianco e Rosso.
Enoteca 1918 is a cozy space to enjoy a traditional cuisine renewed in which the quality of the products we produce is of the utmost importance.
With great enthusiasm we have created this new meeting point in Palma, where gastronomy and wine culture go hand in hand.
